We are located down on a no through road in Staffordshire near Abbots Bromley, and serving Rugeley, Uttoxeter, Stafford, Stoke on Trent, Lichfield and Burton.
How much is it to store a Car or Caravan?
Pricing commencing Oct 26 starts from £9.50 per week plus VAT, and is dependent on size. Outside space for twin axels (or vans 25' to 28') is from £10 per week plus VAT with individual premium gated compounds from £10.50 pw plus VAT. Initial contracts are for 12 months paid in advance for external storage and 6 months for undercover storage.
Under cover storage is from £12 pw plus VAT for cars and £13.50 pw plus VAT for vans up to 27'.
After your first year you can convert at a small increased cost to pay bi-annually (+50p pw), quarterly (+£1 pw) or monthly (+£2) in advance. You have 24/7 access although we prefer patrons not to use the site from 10pm to 6am - we reserve the right to amend access hours to security fobs in the future.
How safe is my caravan?
We have 24 hour recorded CCTV. We have an on site static office which is usually occupied during office hours. There is electric gate access to the farm with security fob access, so we know who is coming and going. We have gated and locked compounds. One compound is premium with individually gated access suitable for twin axel caravans.
As the farm is still working there are people around a lot of the time, there shouldn't be anyone around who isn't known to us. The caravans are not visible from the road and there are no signs or tells that storage is available on site. This is a relatively secure site. Caravans are not packed in close together, allowing even new to towing drivers enough space to get in and out with a caravan and meaning notice is not required to come and go unless between the hours of 10pm to 6am.
How big are Midland Caravan Storage?
We are relatively small but secure. There is the availability of 24/7 access because it isn't a busy site and everything can be seen on CCTV. There is key fob access as well as emergency key pad access and remote gate opening. Whilst we tend to be full, there is availability every few weeks as and when people move on and emailing your details with mobile number is recommended so that we can review and respond when space comes up.
Is there any undercover / shed storage?
Yes there is, but it is reserved for existing patrons. There are sometimes spaces available for storing cars /small boats / machinery dependent on size. We can also provide secure shed storage for welders / scaffolders and agricultural use as well as secure container storage when available.
Do I need to provide any information?
Yes, we require to see a copy of the caravan/motorhome's insurance certificate and for caravans manufactured after 1997 we need to see an up to date copy of the CRiS document. For more information on CRiS, click here. We will endeavour to prevent stolen caravans making their way on site by requiring a copy of your drivers license, car registration and payment by BACS. We always reject short term requests for storage or requests for monthly invoicing in your first 12 months.

Do you have rodents?
As we are situated on a farm, the presence of rodents is an unfortunate reality. We have a contract with CSS Pest Control, who undertake monthly inspections during the summer and inspections fortnightly during the winter. Whenever any rodent activity is identified, this is increased to weekly visits until the situation is brought under control.
Unfortunately, only purpose-built, rodent-proof buildings can offer a guarantee against rodent ingress. As with any open-air storage facility or car park, we are unable to accept responsibility for any damage sustained to vehicles as a result of rodent activity.
We can, however, supply peppermint oil as a deterrent. We recommend spraying beneath the bonnet of your motorhome and placing suitable rodent-deterrent pods in the engine bay over the winter months. There have been instances of rodent-related damage, and we always endeavour to keep our customers informed. However, a proactive approach by both customers and management can help reduce the likelihood of such incidents.
We also strongly recommend that you do not leave any food in your vehicle, other than tinned goods. This precaution should extend to any oils or grease, including non-food-related products, as these can also attract rodents.
Are we Cassoa Registered?
No. We have been at capacity since inception and do not believe this will improve the customer experience and can then keep a fair price point.
